Foneshow was predicated on solving several market conditions. The rapid growth of the smartphone market has made our solution to these conditions no longer optimal. We are winding down the Foneshow service as of August 2nd, 2010. Publishers should remove subscription widgets from their websites as they will come up blank. We suspect many of our users have already migrated to smartphones; there are a host of good solutions on all smartphone platforms to get audio programming on demand.
