It is your responsibility to keep your baby safe. Use common sense and double-check your knots.

| Start with the carrier tied firmly around your waist, lining facing up. |
Use your preferred method of putting baby on your back. |
Seat her high on your back. Lean over to create a "table" for her to rest on while you flip the carrier body up. |
Always have a spotter help hold your baby until you are confident and your baby has learned to rest against your back without wiggling. |
| Grab the straps and bring the carrier body up, |
making SURE that the carrier body passes over your baby's back, and that her legs are hugging your waist. |
Reach back to double-check this. |
Pull the straps over your shoulders. |
| Triple check that your baby is seated deep inside the carrier. |
Spread out the straps |
and cross over your chest. |
Bring the straps OVER your baby's legs, and cross them behind her seat (switching hands). |
| After crossing, bring the straps back around to the front, threading them UNDER your baby's legs. |
Tie a firm square knot. |
