| Spread the carrier out on a bed, lining facing up. Lay your baby down on top of it. Make sure very young babies have their heads adequately supported by the top curve of the carrier. |
Sit and either froggy up a newborn's legs against your back, or spread an older baby's legs around your waist. |
Tie a firm square knot around your waist. |
Reach back and grab one shoulder strap |
| Cross straps across your chest, over baby's legs, and around the back. |
Cross back to the front, under baby's legs, and tie a secure square knot at your waist. |
OR, bring straps up and over your shoulders, and straight down under your armpits, to wear the straps like a backpack (rucksack carry). |
Again, cross straps behind baby's seat, bring back to the front, and knot firmly at your waist. |
