This page explains how to stop Laurence accessing a connected account and how to have the data we hold deleted. It supplements Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
1. Revoke access yourself, immediately
Revoking is instant and does not require us. It stops all further access to the account right away.
- Meta. Open Facebook Settings, then Apps and Websites, and remove Laurence. If the ad accounts were shared from a Business, you can instead remove our access in Meta Business Settings under Partners or Business Integrations.
- Google. Open your Google Account, then Security, then Third-party apps with account access, and remove Laurence.
- Amazon. Revoke in Amazon Seller Central or in your Login with Amazon settings, or disconnect the store in your Laurence dashboard.
Revoking stops future access but does not by itself erase data we have already stored. To have that deleted, use step 2.
2. Request deletion
Email matthew@laurence.com from the address on your Laurence account, telling us which platform and which ad accounts or store the request covers, or asking us to delete everything. We will confirm, and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Copies inside encrypted backups are purged on the backup-rotation cycle, no later than 90 days.
Deleting your Laurence account deletes all of it, on the same timeline, with no separate request needed.
3. What we hold, and what we never held
For a connected Meta or Google account, a deletion request covers everything we store for it:
- The access token issued when you connected, which we hold encrypted
- Ad account, Business or manager account, and Page identifiers and names
- Aggregate advertising metrics — impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, revenue — by campaign, ad set, and ad
Two kinds of personal information are worth stating plainly, because there is nothing to delete:
- Leads from your lead ads. We fetch them from Meta at the moment you view them, show them to you, and discard them. They are never written to our databases, never exported, never sent to anyone else, and never recorded in logs.
- Customer lists you upload for audiences. Email addresses and phone numbers are hashed in your browser before anything is sent, so the raw values never reach our servers. We pass the hashes to Meta and do not store them. To delete the audience itself, delete it in Meta Ads Manager, where it lives.
4. Questions
Write to matthew@laurence.com and we will answer, including if you are unsure which account a request should cover.
